WILSON KIUNA KONYE

M.A (Biblical Studies), B.Ed. (English & Literature)

Wilson is a resourceful, values-led professional with 10+ years’ experience in design and management of spiritual formation and leadership development programs, production of training resources, and capacity building. He is passionate about human flourishing and holistic social transformation through innovative, faith integration programming.

Among his key achievements include successful implementation of two cohorts of Governance Internship Program (GIPro), bringing together 73 participants (2021 – 2023); managing partnerships and collaboration with 13+ government Ministries, Departments & Agencies (MDAs), and funding partners; coordinating production of The Role of the Church in Politics (2022) Study Guide, writing Good News for Africa – A Survey of the New Testament (2023); contributing eight chapters in The Mustard: History of Fellowship of Christian Unions (FOCUS) Kenya, and 15 Application Notes in Africa Study Bible by Oasis International. Before his current role, Wilson worked in various programme management roles in FOCUS-Kenya, including Regional Coordinator (2008-2011), Section Head, Discipleship & Leadership Development (2011 – 2013), and Programme Officer, Research & Publications (2014-2020).

As part of his ministry and community contribution, Wilson has since 2017 served as a Deacon and Associate Pastor at KAG Lifesprings Christian Center (Kikuyu), in charge of discipleship and capacity development, as well as supporting ministry strategy development and implementation. Together with his wife Catherine, Wilson is also actively engaged in mentoring young professionals on personal development, marriage and family life.
