I am working under the immediate supervision of the Deputy Director (Tax Administration unit). My responsibilities entail development of Quarterly Economic and Budgetary Review (QEBR), development of Monthly reports on the Economic and Fiscal Policy to monitor, report and evaluate the budget, tax exemptions on Donor funded projects and other programs and general administrative work.

Deployment at National Treasury provides practical hand on skills in the economic research and policy arena, a wealth understanding of the role of the government in administering fiscal policy and the budget process. Moreover, the internship is an opportunity to promote social change and development by influencing the public service to practice ethical values.
